Tangible progress from our portfolio

We’re proud of the tangible progress our portfolio companies continue to deliver. As of this year, they have:

• Avoided 265,142 tonnes of CO₂-e —equivalent to taking 115,621 cars off the road for a year.
• Diverted 7,594 tonnes of waste from landfill—equivalent to the waste produced by over 14,000 Australian homes in a year.

These numbers, and more in the report, aren’t just metrics—they reflect solutions that align profitability with ecological sustainability and prove that innovation can drive impact at scale.

Spotlighting bold innovators

Our investments span six pathways for systems-level change, and this year’s report features the groundbreaking work of three companies leading the way across several of our pathways. 

• Nbryo is reimagining livestock genetics to reduce methane emissions while improving productivity.
• Azaneo is replacing herbicides with efficient, precision electric weed control.
• Earthodic is eliminating packaging waste with bio-based, recyclable coatings.
• Cecil is delivering analysis-ready data to help science and data teams restore billions of hectares of nature.

These companies represent what’s possible when remarkable founders, climate-smart technologies, and business model innovation combine to solve agriculture’s greatest challenges.

More than venture capital

With the first close of Fund II this year and now over $50M in AUM, our capacity to deliver impact at scale is expanding—not only as investors but also as ecosystem builders and thought leaders. 

Through workshops, roundtables, Meetups, and thought leadership—including 25 podcast episodes and 27 articles and industry reports—we’re fostering collaboration, amplifying insights, and helping the agri-food sector adapt to a changing climate.
